WOW!  This past Sunday we had right at 800 people in-person on our campus!  The 9:30am service alone had 365 people!  We’re pretty sure that’s the most people in-person in one service excluding Easter!  The reality is that means that the 9:30am service is full, and people are having a hard time finding a place to sit when they come in.  Beginning this Sunday, we’re going to do our best to make a few changes to help the situation.  First of all, we are going to add a few more chairs here and there.  We’re going to do a better job of actually ushering people as they come in (please be willing to scoot down a row when asked).  We’re going to rope off the very back section of chairs close to the wall and the first few rows on the back of the section as soon as you walk in.  This will force people to sit closer to the front.  And then as soon as the service begins, we’ll open up those back rows making it easier for people coming in late to find a seat.  As always, we need people to come early and sit to the front and center of each section, leaving the ends open. We also need people willing to start coming to the 11:15am service, which is much smaller in attendance and has plenty of room.

We’re also asking you to start parking at the Oakland Parking Lot, not Orange Grove, and definitely NOT the parking lot immediately in front of the auditorium.  The Oakland Parking Lot is the very large parking lot to the right, immediately past the Greenway, right before you get to our church.  There is PLENTY of parking back there, and it makes more room for our Guests, and it makes a smoother transition between services.  There is also some field parking available behind the church.

Coastal, our church is GROWING, and all of these little things that we’re doing and asking you to do are becoming very important as we head into the Spring and leading up to Easter.  In fact, next Sunday, February 12th is both LIFE Group Sunday AND we’re kicking off a new series called, “Relationship Rescue” – it’s going to be a BIG DAY!  Not only are we asking you to pull out the stops and invite your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers, but we are also mailing out a postcard that will go to THOUSANDS in our community!  So, please help us out and do your part as Coastal continues to grow and reach people in our community with the good news of the Gospel!  In fact, this Sunday I’m making a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT about something we’ll be doing soon to help with our continued growth!  Don’t miss it!  I love you Coastal!  I love being your Pastor!  And I love what we get to do together!

LIFE & LOVE!
Pastor Chris
