The best place to “jump right in” for serving is our First Impressions team. This ministry is perfect for getting your feet wet and serving on Sunday morning. Every week, volunteers greet people at the door and pass out bulletins. You can also serve behind the scenes with various positions.
Essentially, these volunteers help create the “first impression” for every person who attends our worship services.
Do you have a gift of hospitality and setting up coffee/food? The Cafe might be a great place for you to serve.
Every week, we provide a free café for everyone who attends. We’re only able to do this through the service of volunteers who make it happen.
Do you enjoy working with Children? Coastal Kidz offers a warm, nurturing, safe, and age appropriate environment during the Worship Service for children Birth – 5th Grade.

We always need teams of people for a variety of office work. Putting contact information into the computer, stuffing programs, writing and sending letters, organizing, etc.

Coastal places a high value on creating an opportunity for people to connect with God and growing their faith through worship! We do that with a team of high-skill musicians and vocalists leading each Sunday.
If this is you, you’re encouraged to audition and try out for our worship team.
Are you a sound, lighting or video engineer, great with computers, or have no experience or expertise but are just interested? We have a place for you on Sunday morning where you can help with the production of our Sunday services.
The safety of our kids and families at Coastal is one of our top priorities. Help create and provide a safe and secure environment for families to worship, learn and grow.
Every Sunday, with the help of Charleston County Police Department, we have people behind the scenes keeping our church family secure.

Whether it’s Sunday morning before, during or after or service, or even throughout the week, prayer warriors are essential to the spiritual health of our church hand our people.
The Online Engagement Team connects with online members and guests in the chat during all live services – 8:30am, 10:00am and 11:30am
Choose the service times and dates that you’d like to serve and help meet and greet those who are online, answer questions and make those who are tuning in feel welcome.
Be a part of the group that sets our building back up for services each weekend. Each Saturday morning, for about 30 minutes or less, a team gathers to reset the “worship-gym-a-torium” for our weekly Sunday services.
Help deliver care baskets, provide meals for, write cards and notes, and provide general hospitality to people in our church and community who are experiencing big life events.
