I know sometimes I must sound like a broken record, but it was another amazing Sunday at Coastal this past week!  It was LIFE Group Sunday and the kickoff of “Relationship Rescue.”  We had 869 people in-person and another 751 online!  I’m glad we added chairs – we needed it!  I want to thank everyone who parked at Oakland and those of you who shifted from the 9:30am service to the 11:15am service – please keep it up!  I can’t thank all of our LIFE Group Leaders enough for all of their hard work and creativity!  They “knocked it out of the park” again!  The excitement, fun, and enthusiasm (and food) in the room was palpable!  Plus, are you ready for this, so far we’ve had over 500 individual adults sign up for LIFE Groups and over 800 total signups (meaning some of you LOVE you some LIFE Groups and have signed up for multiple groups – haha)!  That’s AWESOME!

While some of our LIFE Groups are already full, many are not.  So go to our website, check out the catalog, and sign up for a LIFE Group today!  Once you sign up for a LIFE Group, your Group Leader will contact you with all the important information.  Most LIFE Groups begin this coming week.  If you have any questions about Groups, please reach out to Pastor Scott Huff.

The big push between now and Easter Weekend will be Sunday morning Volunteers!  Oh, speaking of Easter Weekend, we’re having six Easter Services over 3 days:  Friday, April 7th, 7pm;  Saturday, April 8th, 4:30 & 6pm;  Sunday, April 9th, 8:30am, 10am, 11:30am!  Our goal is to have over 2000 people in person over Easter Weekend!  Start praying now for the people you will be inviting and for the people the church will be reaching out to through all of our advertising.  And don’t forget that those Easter Sunday service times will be our new services times moving forward from Easter.  But again, to pull that off, all of our Sunday morning Ministries will need new Volunteers – especially Coastal Kidz!  If you would be interested in serving in Coastal Kidz, please reach out to Janet.  She would love to give you a tour and explain all the different opportunities to serve.  Don’t forget, if you change the life of a child, you change the world!  Be a world changer!  If Coastal Kidz isn’t for you, check out all of the different places to serve on our website, and sign up today!

I’ll be in week 2 of “Relationship Rescue” this Sunday, and I’ll be talking about SEX!  Some of you are excited, some of you are nervous – haha!  “What’s Pastor Chris going to say?  And has Janet previewed his jokes?” Well, you’ll have to be there to find out!  But my real goal for this Sunday is to help lead people to the cross, to help those people who walk around with pain, and shame, and guilt, to help lead them to a blood stained cross so they can receive forgiveness and a new beginning.  I’m hoping this Sunday will be a turning point in your spiritual life.  And not just in your spiritual life, but in your relationships, and in your marriage.  I love you Coastal!  I love being your Pastor!  And I love what we get to do together!

LIFE & LOVE!
Pastor Chris
