More beautiful pictures (above) from yet more Baptisms this past Sunday! And yes, you guessed it; there’s another Baptism this Sunday! I don’t know if you’ve noticed it or not, but Baptisms are a regular thing here at Coastal. In a lot of churches today, there hasn’t been a Baptism in so long they don’t even fill or clean the Baptistry. It just sits empty and dusty – which might be a pretty good description of some of those churches. Not at Coastal. Already in 2026 there have been more Sunday’s with a Baptism than not. It’s just normal at Coastal. And I love it! It’s a sign of growth and life change at a church. So what about you? Is that your next step? What are you waiting on? Jesus did it. He commanded it. And that settles it – at least it should. At Coastal we practice believer’s Baptism by immersion. In other words, we don’t Baptize people unless they believe. That’s the only requirement for Baptism, that you have personally placed your faith and trust in Christ as your Lord and Savior. An infant can’t do that. We also Baptize by immersion. Why? Simple – it perfectly illustrates the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, Jesus was Baptized that way, and every Baptism in the New Testament was by immersion. So again, what about you? We’re ready any Sunday, any service. And at Coastal it’s a huge celebration! You can sign up on your Connect Card on Sunday or right now on our website and one of our Pastors will follow up with you.
Guess what? This past Sunday night we had 105 people (WOW) come to our “Making An IMPACT” Evangelism Seminar! They were challenged and equipped to share their story, share their faith, and invite people to church.
And speaking of inviting people to church – Easter weekend is now officially less than ONE MONTH away! It’s time to start reaching out to your friends, neighbors, co-workers, classmates, and family and invite them to join you at one of our 7 Easter Services over Easter Weekend, April 3rd-5th (see all service times below). Beginning this Sunday, leading up to Easter, you’ll start seeing different tools for you to use to advertise our services and invite your people to church – Yard Signs, Invite Cards, Tickets, Post Cards. Take them home and start handing them out!
It’s also time for YOU to go to EASTERATCOASTAL.COM and let us know which service you plan on attending. If at all possible, help us make room in the Sunday morning 9:30am and 11am services by attending one of the other 5 identical services. Friday 7pm and Saturday 4:30pm & 6pm are great options for those who might be traveling for Spring Break or have family obligations on Sunday. But no matter the service you attend, by registering in advance, it helps us know which service is reaching capacity or is full. So again, go to EASTERATCOASTAL.COM and register today! You can also download shareable graphics at EASTERATCOASTAL.COM to use on social media. I love you Coastal! I love being your Pastor! And I love what God has called us to do together! Can’t wait to see you Sunday!
Much, Much Love!
Pastor Chris

P.S. Did you know that Coastal has a Celebrate Recovery Ministry? What is Celebrate Recovery you ask? Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Bible-based, Christ-centered recovery program for those who struggle with life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. The curriculum takes participants through The 8 Recovery Principles, which are based on the Beatitudes. A hurt, habit, or hang-up is anything that hinders your walk with God. They postpone or prevent genuine fellowship with Him and your loved ones. You may be thinking that recovery is only for those with alcohol or drug problems. This could not be further from the truth! Most of life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups can be addressed through this ministry; including problems with anxiety, abuse, anger, grief, depression, guilt and shame, financial insecurity, divorce, dysfunctional families, sexual problems, eating disorders and more! If you’re ready to find hope and healing join CR every Tuesday evening at 6:30pm in the Coastal Chapel! For more information please contact the CR Ministry Leaders Chris Jones (843.708.5525) and Cary Jones (917.846.0696).
