The foundation of all of our serving opportunities at Coastal really starts with Saturday Serve – the first Saturday of every month. We meet in the Welcome Center/Cafe at 8:30am, project leaders make a “pitch” for their serving opportunity, and then we serve!
You will have the option to serve a hot meal at the North Charleston Tailgate, distribute clothing items, sew community items with the sewing group, join in kids’ projects at the church, restock blessing boxes, service at Lowcountry Food Bank, cook meals in the kitchen, and more!
Bring the whole family to Saturday Serve – the first saturday of every month! The kids will enjoy serving their community by making crafts and cards for the residents at Patriot Villas, Charleston Vets, and Joseph Floyd Manor!

The pantry is open the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 12:00pm-1:30pm, or upon appointment. You do not have to be a member of the church to use this pantry.
Donations for the food pantry can be dropped off in the grocery cart in the church or shipped to 460 Arlington Drive Charleston, SC 29414. All donations are welcome, but our urgent/current needs will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram.

Volunteer with Soldiers’ Angels to supply low-income veterans and their families with food assistance at the Mobile Food Distribution. This project consists of preparing groceries (provided by the local food bank) for approximately 250 local veterans and their families. Volunteers then assist in the loading of the groceries in the veterans vehicle. Many of these veterans are disabled and have financial difficulties. If you’re a regular giver, please continue to be faithful with your generosity at Coastal. You may not know this, but in the rare event that we’ve closed for a day for an unforeseen circumstance, it’s difficult to recover from just one missed Sunday for the rest of the year. Your weekly gifts are a vital resource that allows us to continue the work that God has called us to do, and our in-person Sunday services only represent a small portion of that work. When you continue to give during this crisis, your gifts allow us to maintain critical ministries that many depend on.
You can give online at any time at coastalcommunitychurch.org/give/, or by texting with the word “GIVE” to 843-571-1777. Thank you so much for your faithfulness to give!
If you would like to receive regular email updates from us, you can sign up for our mailing list by emailing Pastor Chris Jones.
We are always looking for new community partners and serving opportunities. If our organization would like to partner with use to make an impact in our community, we’d love to hear from you.
