Get To Know Ashley
Ashley Hojnacki, Administrative Assistant
Family: I was born and raised in beautiful Michigan (by beautiful I mean for about two months out of the year when it isn’t snowing). I moved to Charleston with my husband, Ed in 2012. Both of our families still reside in Michigan, but we have been incredibly blessed with a wonderful church family that continues to grow.
Wisdom/bit of advice/quote: “You weren’t an accident. You weren’t mass-produced. You aren’t an assembly-line product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on the earth by the Master Craftsman…You are the only you God made… God made you and broke the mold.” -Max Lucado
Educational & Ministry History: BA in Sociology and Social Thought from Hillsdale College. I have been attending Coastal for almost four years, where I have led and co-led multiple LIFE Groups, volunteer with our awesome WAVES Youth Group, volunteer on the First Impressions Team, and have now started working at Coastal as an Administrative Assistant.
Fun Stuff: Hanging out with my husband, road trips, finding the best pizza in Charleston, being outdoors/camping, traveling with friends, reading.
What’s on my iPod: Adele, Hillsong, Ben Howard, Bon Iver, Cheesy 90’s Boy Bands, and maybe a little bit of Justin Bieber
Makes me laugh: My Nephews, New Girl, The Office.
Books you should read: The Shack by WM. Paul Young, Cure for the Common Life: Living in Your Sweet Spot by Max Lucado, The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, It’s Not What You Think by Jefferson Bethke
